Aspirant is seeking a User Experience Designer that understands the processes for discovering, designing and optimizing factors that create a positive experience for the end user. The UX Designer will work with strategists and business analysts to create journey maps that optimize user experience, and we will count on your expertise to help design, develop, execute, and deliver the finished customized product.

Here is what you will do:

  • Use case development, user stories, persona creation, journey maps, analysis, information architecture, interaction design and visual design to meet expectations of clients
  • Screen design and interaction design
  • Understand behavior and how it interacts with solutions
  • Participate in all aspects of software development design cycle as needed, from research, analysis, design through release within an agile organization
  • Coach and assist the team with development of UX designs
  • Regularly and proactively communicate status, risks, and other issues related to design activities that are under development
  • Work in cross-functional teams to plan, prioritize, and deliver information architecture, information design, visual design/page layouts, tools, services and applications to support the complete cohesive user experience
  • Leverage modern web technologies to define innovative user interfaces and interaction models that result in improved user productivity and operational efficiency
  • Make understanding end user requirements a constant priority
  • Educate internal teams on best practices around information architecture, interaction and visual designs, usability and supporting technologies
  • All other duties as assigned

Here is what we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2+ years of professional experience
  • Direct experience designing desktop and mobile platforms and solutions
  • Experience gathering and documenting business, functional, and end user requirements
  • Successful track record of delivering integrated high-end user interfaces on schedule and on budget
  • Deep knowledge of user center design processes and methodology
  • Broad knowledge and advanced skills in visual design, information architecture, usability evaluation, and appropriate technologies
  • Solid understanding of interactive web technologies (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Flex ) and industry trends
  • Working knowledge of user experience design tools
  • Solid understanding of social design including behavior patterns from psychology and other social sciences
  • Proficiency in modern design methodologies
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex technical documents, diagrams, data models
  • Ability to write design specification documents that convey complex analysis and solutions clearly and concisely
